Throughout 2010, AstraZeneca U.S. focused on achieving the goals set in this report: On honoring the ways that health connects us all. On advancing patient health through well-planned clinical development programs and a multitude of patient safeguards. On fostering deep connections within our many communities and among the patients and organizations that look to us for additional support. On diminishing our environmental footprint and broadening our impact through a smarter use of our resources. We set the bar high, and worked hard to reach it.
As an organization, we recognize that medicines alone cannot strengthen the health of a nation. But we believe that true progress can be made on prominent health care issues, through collaboration with all of our stakeholders. As we look to the future, we look forward to working with patients, advocates, policymakers, health care providers, and nonprofit organizations contributing to the greater good.
